About the role
This full-time permanent Financial Controller role reports into the Finance Director and is responsible for full controllership including planning and reporting. The role has three direct reports - AP, AR and a Financial Accountant. Responsibilities include:
About you
You are a qualified accountant with team leadership experience, coming from exposure to manufacturing is advantageous but not necessary. You have great relationship building skills and fantastic leadership skills in order to get the most out of your team. You are supportive and a team player who enjoys being a mentor. This role supports a team and is focused on the technical accounting.
You either have chartered accounting experience only and are looking for your first role in industry or you have already gained experience in industry after some time in chartered.

- Finalise all reporting including month end
- P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, budgets & forecasting, providing reporting, analysis & value-added business recommendations
- AP, AR, fixed asset register, cash flow management, general ledger, bank reconciliations
- Business partner with other business units on the leadership team
- Financial control including internal audit support and external audit liaison
- Tax, fringe benefit tax and year-end tax pack completions
About you

- You are CA/CPA qualified
- You have chartered accounting experience
- You have strong leadership/management experience
- You have strong technical accounting skills
- Exposure to manufacturing/production is desirable but not necessary
- Highly developed analytical and modelling skills
- Strong process improvement and systems knowledge
