Our client is a global leading manufacturer of premium clean air solutions, who provide commercial and industrial systems for air filtration and air pollution control that improve worker and equipment productivity, minimise energy use and benefit human health and the environment. The Group has 31 manufacturing sites, six R&D centres, local sales offices in more than 35 countries, and about 5,200 employees and growing.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this newly created role is responsible for embedding a robust market strategy while having a laser-like focus on commercial returns. You will lead and develop the strategic go-to-market activity to deliver targeted acquisition and lead nurture programs. Aside from being a technically sound marketer, you will also be effective in delivering a cultural shift across all levels of the business to introduce best in class marketing innovation. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalize on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience. You are a degree qualified, digitally savvy senior marketing leader with 6+ years experience across the B2B landscape. Although open to your industry background, experience across industrial manufacturing or building products would be highly advantageous. With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience and love utilising customer insights to drive strategic outcomes. You have a track record of embedding new CRM systems and acting as the internal educator and advocate of it, while also ensuring continuous improvement and value is generated from it to improve customer outcomes. You are a brand professional, and have delivered strategic end-to-end brand refreshes in challenging environments. You have strong stakeholder management skills – you are at ease presenting to senior executives, as you are with engaging with an external agency, or managing a high potential team to deliver.

Other responsibilities include:
- Act as the internal champion and owner of the newly implemented CRM, leveraging its functionality to improve customer communications to prospects and existing customers, and introduce automation opportunities
- Maintain and produce publications such as case studies, e-newsletters, research reports, technical bulletins, marketing campaigns and marketing support collateral to support the sales managers
- Use market data and consumer insights to develop actions that target a defined customer audience with clear product messaging and positioning
- Support the Sales team to identify customer needs, develop category-based value propositions and sales enablement tools
- Be the custodian of the brand and ensure it is properly represented and elevated in the marketplace
- Manage digital marketing including email campaigns and social media platforms
- Coordinate events including organisation of tradeshows and related events, such as webinars and internal events.
