About the Position
As the Business Development Director your key responsibility will be to drive new business opportunities across Australia focusing predominantly on large blue chip organisations. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities and converting these opportunities into new clients to achieve your set sales target. This is an individual contributor role which requires a high level of commercial acumen selling into C-Level Executives. Using strategic thinking, the Business Development Director will create long-term sales plans and execute on them with our prospects.
About You
The successful candidate will display an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate a proven track record of overachieving their sales quota and has the right skillset to take the business to the next level and will also have the following attributes:
Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with proven experience dealing with and selling into C-level executives across both finance, legal and procurement
10-15 years of overall sales experience, particularly in complex selling situations or equivalent
Engage prospects with a consultative sales approach
Must be articulate with strong writing and presentation skills
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven experience with Social and Digital selling techniques
Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities
Very strong work ethic with “can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out” attitude
Ability to leverage supporting team of Marketing, Analysts, Product Owners and Operations
