Recent change at leadership level has enabled the opportunity for a GM of Commercial to join the business taking the lead on the overall customer and channel strategy with a leading input in product and category expansion opportunities.
About the role
Leading a diverse team across the grocery, independent, foodservice and ingredients channels this role requires an individual that is agile and presents with significant breadth in their experience. A hands on role, this position leads on high level strategy and execution whilst being particularly focused on ensuring effective collaboration, efficiencies and team engagement working towards common organisational goals and targets. Taking responsibility for an already high performing business unit, the additional focus will be elevating current practice around engaging internal and external stakeholders creating best in class category plans and mutual value creation.
Skills and experience
To successfully secure this role it is essential that you have gained commercial leadership experience in the grocery and FMCG space with national customers across all the major retailers and independent customers. Experience across foodservice, QSR or B2B customers will also be highly regarded as would demonstrated success collaborating with product and R&D teams from ideation to innovation delivery. You will be a natural leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams from varied backgrounds and capabilities that enjoys working within a culture that is results focused with a one team mindset.
