Boasting an excellent track record of success and strong brand presence, this organisation is well established as a core player in the food space. The site is located in northern regional Victoria and a large employer of regional manufacturing talent.

About the role
This newly created role supporting the existing OH&S team of 6 acts as the face of safety for a large scale manufacturing operation. Reporting into the Health and Safety Manager, the role will focus on driving best practice across all facets of health and safety for the site, with a remit around preventative strategies and optimisation of current process. This role will include:
- Liaising actively witha team of safety business partners across each product category
- Driving proactive and preventative strategies regarding health and safety practices within a manufacturing setting 
Ongoing development of best practice activities surrounding injury management, 

Skills and experience
This role is a fantastic opportuinity for a health and safety professional to join an industry leader, in an established health and safety team. Health and safety experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment would be looked favourably upon, however if you are a HSE professional looking to pivot into manufacturing, this opportunity could be right for you. For consideration, we will be looking for:
- Formal qualifications in Health and Safety, ideally Cert IV in WH&S or equivalent
- Current first aid certificate
- Strong interpersonal skills, as a front facing role with touchpoints across the business from operations to leadership
- Prior experience in developing and facilitating health and safety practices and systems
