Account Director
Our client is a leading entertainment consultancy, providing strategy, creative and advertising services to some of the greatest live entertainment and events clients in the world. Clients range from global entertainment franchises, iconic art institutions, international concert and theatre promoters, cultural festival, film producers, major sporting bodies and more.
Leading an integrated team of marketing strategists, media experts and creatives, your key objective will be to deliver innovative campaigns that create high value outcomes for clients.
Reporting into the Client Services Director, key responsibilities include:
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for clients – covering target audience articulation, brand pillars, marketing objectives, media strategy, content ideation and messaging matrixes.
- Brief internal teams on client aims and objectives, in achievable plans with clear goals and timelines.
- Ideate and present marketing campaign plans and ideas that reach client objectives
- Create and manage budgets on all accounts and work closely with the Finance team to ensure each account is operating with accountability and efficiency.
- Brief and motivate teams throughout the agency to ensure the overall quality of work before presentation to the client
- Deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognizing
The ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of destination and/venue marketing experience, agency preferred, covering both media and creative fields
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Can expertly manage multiple clients, stakeholders, deadline and campaigns at once
- Can distill complex and disparate information into concise and actionable communications plans to help guide clients, agency partners, and internal teams.
- Is a brilliant collaborator and can find a unifying ground between departments and people.
- Can think “big picture” but can also get down to tactics quickly.
Has an up to date and working knowledge/understanding of media and the current media
landscape.
- Can identify the real issue behind a problem and articulate how to solve it in an equitable and efficient manner.
- Stays on top of industry trends, new media programs/opportunities and can advise on new ways to reach targets.
- Likes thinking creatively and coming up with original, exciting and purposeful social content, and has a thorough understanding of social media platforms.
