About the role
The Shopper Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maximising shopper influence as point of purchase and unlock wins for the business, retailer and shopper. You will lead the journey of reinventing the shopper marketing function, moving it towards a more category and consumer-centric approach to drive strategy and growth. You will have the opportunity to work across their total portfolio of products and activate across all channels (Coles, WW, Indies) both online and instore from briefing through to post implementation analysis. 
 
Skills and Expertise
  • Prior experience in Shopper or Trade Marketing and activation - either agency or client side 
  • Tertiary qualified (Commerce or Marketing preferred)
  • Experience in Coles and Woolworths retail environment is ideal but not essential 
  • Knowledge of IRI/Nielsen scan or shopper data analysis
  • Background in agency activation and shopper messaging
  • Strong ability to build relationships with commercial, agency and retailer partners
  • Able to apply shopper insights into TTL activities
