About the role 
Reporting directly to the State Manager NSW/ACT, you will be responsible for the NSW business portfolio and will have the task to continually grow the brand and products through its existing client base along with identifying new business opportunities across the A&D, Consultants, Contractors and Supplier market. The primary focus of the Specification Account Manager is the ability to influence architectural and design specification by providing acoustic guidance, technical support and expertise, and in assisting the compilation of written project, product and installation documentation.
 
Responsibilities  
  • Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies, with the emphasis on products and solution selling.
  • Present solutions presentations to key stakeholders in the A&D market, Product Consultants and preferred partners.
  • Record and tracking of projects that are a result of direct engagement with architects and designers from the above key activity.
  • Monitoring and recording of specified projects with the assistance of CRM and online tendering portals.
  • You will be the key point of contact for new sales enquiries and will continue to find ways to engage and increase the client database and number of sales. 
 
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate 
  • A strong degree of commercial acumen. (i.e. excellent communication skills, businesses development, contract negotiation, and marketing skills)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated results across architectural specification, sales growth and improved field execution.
  • Ability to identify opportunities using resources such as Tenderlink, BCI and act swiftly to secure sales.
  • Experience working within the building and construction industry would be an advantage. 
 
Most important, you will be the Brand Ambassador and reflect the company's values to the market. This is a crucial role within the NSW/ACT business and will form part of a highly collaborative, cohesive and energetic team.
