About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Communications Specialist will manage the communications calendar and brainstorm creative ideas and stories to drive activity goals. In this role, you will be utilising content to build communication campaigns across multiple channels and report and measure campaigns effectiveness and ROI.
You will also be liaising with the global sales team to develop specific marketing material and source opportunities to promote the Schiavello brand through industry events, media partnerships and sponsorships. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content and develop and execute a PR strategy to support the business in meeting marketing objectives.

Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualified in either Communications, Marketing or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar communications and marketing role, preferably within a business-to-business or professional services environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Experience in managing external suppliers and working with external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with Global brands / markets & knowledge of furniture/interior design industry an advantage.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, PPT and Excel
  • Skills in digital content creation / activation advantageousPossess and existing network with local media – advertising & PR.
