About the role
This role forms part of the leadership team of the business, reports directly the local MD based in Melbourne and is a business-critical role that will see the successful hands-on sales professional managing a small sales team and drive the strategic growth initiatives of the business into new markets, developing the service offering, and engaging with customer at an executive level.

About you
- The successful candidate will have a background coming from either the Transport & Logistics industry or Chemical/Hazardous goods market.
- If you come from the transport industry and have firsthand experience of knowing how dangerous goods are transported through the supply chain that will be advantageous however not essential
- You will be a hands-on strategic sales manager with a background off setting up sales processes and go to market strategies.
- You will be commercially astute, have and solid understanding of profitability and the impacts it has on a business.
- Capabilities to present and engage at an executive level within the customer base.
- Be able to travel frequently interstate.
- A supportive and down to earth personality/leadership style, this business has a flat structure at the top, everyone counts.
