About the Role
 
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Category Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide valuable industry insights and use data to drive a 5-year channel development and customer growth plan. Working closely with national distributors and key accounts, you'll identify growth opportunities and develop effective strategies to achieve them. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse data and identify growth opportunities, with a focus on industry trends rather than just the category. Skills & Experience Required
 
The successful candidate will have knowledge of the FMCG industry and the route to market process. Ideally, the candidate should have previously worked in a category/sales analyst role, Assistant Brand Manager or National Account Executive role, and possess strong analytical skills. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to review data, create a story and translate this into recommendations. Ideally you will have a tertiary degree and have experience working within consumer goods, retail or FMCG. We welcome candidates who have a passion for food and a desire to progress their career within analytics.
