About the role  
Reporting to the Senior Supplier Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our suppliers. You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with supplier requirements, and optimising costs. As part of your role you will be providing fact based mitigation recommendations and ensure ongoing management of the supplier database.
 
This is an opportunity for an ambitious commercial supplier specialist to join a high performing team, and to learn from and further progress their career in a large supplier management / procurement function.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with supplier requirements
  • Optimise costs and improve supplier performance
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier performance meets business needs
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on supplier-related matters
  • Drive continuous improvement of the supplier management process
  • Identify and mitigate supplier risks

About you
We are looking to speak to highly motivated and experienced individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
 
Additionally we are seeking candidates with the following attributes :
 
  • Ideally Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier management or procurement
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with supplier management tools and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
