Our client is an exciting growthing food manufacturing business in the "better for you" health foods space. With an established profile of in-house brands and some exciting visible and recognisable partnerships, it is a great time to be joining this innovative business as they embark on the next phase of their growth. The eastern-suburbs manufacturing site is undergoing exciting capital project works centred around upgrading automation capabilities and increasing output as the demand for the category continues to boom.
What to expect from the role
As the HSE Business Partner, you will be tasked with driving a true safety partnership across the business with key critical stakeholders at all levels of the business. Building out the existing OH&S practices on-site and implementing new best-practice solutions, this role is a great opportunity for a proactive safety professional who is equally comfortable across strategy, implementation and driving safety from the shop floor. This role will also involve incident management, overseeing technical and systems training and ensuring business compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
What we are looking for?
This role calls for a safety professional who is engaged in shop floor activities and driving engagement with key operational stakeholders across various functions including Production, Operations and Site Leadership.
- Technical qualifications in WH&S, CERT IV in WHS or equivlant
- Demonstrable track record of enacting change in a manufacturing environment, 2-5 years experience at the supervisory or leadership level
- Proven ability to develop and deliver OH&S programs
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
