About the role
Reporting into the Manager, Organisational Brand and Marketing, you will be supporting the delivery of MCM’s Strategic plan and support the organisation’s program areas by managing MCM’s website, digital advertising and external digital communication channels. You will be responsible for developing content for several MCM websites, including ‘Sleep At The G’ campaign and identifying any gaps and improvements for MCM’s online presence. You will also understand the process of development, from concept, design and development.
In this role, you will also work closely with the Fundraising team to promote appeals and activities and develop MCM eDM’s, including content creation and template designs. You will oversee the coordination of the Search Engine Optimisation and manage reporting for online campaigns, including web analytics and EDM reporting.

Skills & Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a Communications or marketing role
- Demonstrated experience in the management and development of large scale websites
- Experience using content management systems, including open source and private license (ASP.net preferable), ideally Sitecore
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proof reading skills
- UAT experience
- Understanding and experience developing and managing accessible websites in accordance with Standards of Accessibility
- Demonstrated writing skills specifically related to web and digital communications
- Adobe CS skills including Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to build effective relationships, communicate expectations and ability to keep them on track.
- A high level of self-initiative and ability to manage competing priorities
