About the Company
Our client is a retailer based in Mulgrave who provide a flexible working model, with a few days in and a few days out of their Mulgrave head office.


About the role
This is a 12 month fixed-term-contract role reporting into the CFO in a small team of 4. The role encompasses what you would expect from an Accounts Officer role responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end, reconciliation, general ledger and basic reporting.

Experience with Excel is key and the ability to do VLOOKUP, pivot table and formulas. Experience with MYOB is highly desirable but not necessary.

You must have very strong communications skills, verbal and written and be able to communicate with internal stakeholders on the phone. The role supports small business owners with their queries and questions regarding AR/AP/Invoicing.

If you have had exposure to process improvements, this would be desirable.

You enjoy working in a small finance team where you can get involved in improvements and have held hands-on roles where you’ve supported across many areas in accounting.
