A rare and exciting opportunity now exists to join one of Australia's leading ASX listed organisations, as their Strategy Manager.  Already a player in international markets, the organisation is poised for future strategic growth, both organically and inorganically, making this a compelling  time to join.  Reporting to an Executive leader and with exposure to the wider leadership group, you will be part of a small but crucial team which is at the forefront of strategic initiatives and planning for the business.  

Specifically, your role will include responsibilities such as:

* Market research and analysis, including engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand industry developments
* Providing recommendations for new business development opportunities and the execution of such opportunities
* Develop strategy based on an understanding of market trends, competitor behaviour new industry initiatives
* Own the group financial model for strategic planning and M&A analysis
* Provide investment appraisal guidance and analyse synergy opportunities
* Contribute to the execution of acquisitions and investments including contractual negotiations with counter parties where applicable.

This role will be suited to candidates with a background in either strategy consulting or corporate finance / transaction services, either in advisory or a corporate.  Importantly, you will bring with you a highly analytical background, coupled with an inquisitive nature and an ability to influence decision making.  You will have strong commercial and strategic acumen which will support your ability to make robust recommendations.  As a strong communicator, you will possess natural stakeholder relationship skills to work at all levels.
