About the role 

Reporting into the Communications and Engagement Manager, you will lead and manage Our Watch’s internal Communications strategy and set business goals for employee communication. You will develop and seek to improve internal communications channels and effectively share internal OurWatch information. You will provide strategic communications advice on projects and lead the development and roll out of timely, engaging, and high-quality internal communications content.
 
In this role, you will advise and brief senior leaders on communications strategies and messages and build collaborative relationships with OurWatch staff to support on projects. You will also work closely with the Senior Events and Communications Adviser to plan, develop, and deliver successful internal staff events.
 
About you  
  •  Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or another related field.
  • Strong command of corporate communications techniques, including communications strategy development, internal communications, and event management.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing internal communications functions, projects, and activities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, including the ability to set clearly defined objectives and priorities, plan and manage workload, and utilise systems to track progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, including the ability to set clearly defined objectives and priorities, plan and manage workload, and utilise systems to track progress.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • While not necessarily from the prevention sector, you understand Our Watch’s vision and mission, and you can see how this will motivate you to help grow Our Watch’s reach, awareness and engagement.
