About the company:
Our client is an Australian grown, 3PL business. Considering significant growth across the company, they require an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transport functions.
 
About the role:
Reporting through to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for daily FCL and LCL transport function and fleet maintenance. Managing a team of 30+ drivers, strong communication skills are paramount to ensure efficiencies across the driver pool.
 
Duties:
  • Manage a team of 30+ drivers.
  • Facilitate in supporting fleet controllers.
  • Work with internal transport and customer service teams.
  • Ensuring safety and regulations regarding driver fatigue and mass management is being upheld.
 
Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of wharf transport management or 3PL experience.
  • Exposure to FCL and LCL transport.
  • 1Stop or Containerchain software advantageous.
  • First class written and verbal communication skills and influencing ability.
  • Drivers License.
