About the Company
Our client is a global FMCG business with a highly sought after product range. They are genuine leaders within the foodservice channel and are in a strong position to continue their market dominance as a result of continued investment with their manufacturing and innovation divisions. Their brand is an established name and one that is highly regarded, and due to continued growth, they are now looking for logistics coordinator to join the team.

About the Role
This person will be the main operational contact for all DC's. Will work hand in hand with customer service and follow up  ETA’s on orders and conduct scheduling out of all the Manufacturing sites. Further, this person will be responsible for controlling the transport services to customers and work as part of a close and supportive team.

Duties
  • Ensuring on time deliveries of orders to all customers.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to develop effective operational practices.
  • Coordinating logistics through 3PL partners.
  • Managing logistics through systems.
  • Ability to be across multiple tasks at any given time working in a fast passed environment.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Highly analytical aptitude and ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • High attention to detail.
