This now provides a great opportunity for a Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leader to join the team to help drive business transformation.

About the role
The Chief Operations Officer has responsibility for two plants and a team that covers Production, Logistics, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Technical.

Priorities of the role include:
• Delivery of factory improvements in terms of efficiency and capacity and ensuring demand can be met profitably in a growth-oriented environment.
• Setting KPIs, introducing lean/visual concepts, and assessment of capital requirements.
• Development of a more robust Sales & Operations Planning process to deliver future growth.
• Providing leadership and development to a broader team of circa 150 and implementing a structure that both supports business stability and the career ambitions of your team.
• Key involvement on the plant expansion program to service the local and international growth agenda.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate profile will have gained significant experience in leading operations and improving factory performance. They could already be at COO level, or alternatively could be a strong Plant Manager with capability to step up and take on a broader remit. The successful individual will be a passionate hands-on leader who likes to be in the detail and displays the resilience and agility to successfully drive change in a business going though transformation.
