About the Position

As the Director, Business Engagement and a member of the Senior Leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of our clients growth strategy. You and your team will work with Victorian businesses to support the creation of more diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces with a specific focus on supporting the creation of employment opportunities and creating environments where people who face barriers to secure employment can flourish.  You will have to work closely with a variety of industries, businesses and employers to identify and/or build products and co-design solutions that ensure workplace environments are as inclusive and diverse as possible while making employing priority jobseekers work for business.  You will need to be skilled at advocating for the social and commercial benefits of inclusive employment for business. You will provide advice and connections in support of meeting both business and social inclusion objectives. You will also lead the way as an advocate for change in the employment market, promoting our client's vision, mission and strategic priorities and the benefits of social inclusion to the broader Victorian community.


About You

The successful candidate will display an enthusiastic, commercial and hard working spirit and demonstrate a proven track record growing business in a B2B Corporate Environment. You will also have:

• Previous experience developing high level strategic plans that build brand, have a commercial growth agenda and create impact alongside revenue growth
• Proven experience leading and inspiring a commercially focused high performing team
• Established networks in the B2B community
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with a range of key stakeholders – employers, board members, government agencies, media etc
• Proven ability to design and deliver a range of commercial engagement initiatives
• Strong Project Management skills
• A critical thinker who operates strategically and has a desire to create social change
• Highly developed communication and influencing skills
• The ability to adapt, respond quickly to and lead effectively through change and transformation
• Proven ability to think and plan strategically with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A relevant tertiary qualification in an industry related discipline
