About the role

This regional SHE Manager role will be based out of Melbourne's northern suburbs, with a remit across 3 territories. Based out of a large DC environment, this senior leadership role will sit as part of a national leadership team, reporting into the GM of Health, Safety and Environment. You will be reponsible for:
  • Developing best practice SHE initiatives at a regional level, driving and implementing these across a primary site and 2 additional states
  • Conducting regular assessments to identify risks and hazards in the workplace
  • Provide advice and supporty to senior management across the business with regards to Safety, Health and Environment as well as Injury Management
  • Build out site capability at all levels in a SHE context, coaching leadership and supervisors



What we are looking for

You are a passionate SHE professional with a keen eye for detail. Someone who truly believes that sending people home safe at the end of the day is of paramount importance. You are able to build relationships at all levels of an organisation and are an effective communicator. In terms of your experience, please see below:
  • Demonstrated senior experience in an operational HSE role, with FMCG experienced preferred
  • Proven capability in training and development of peers in best practice HSE 
  • Lead Auditor/ICAM certifications looked on favourably
  • Excellent eye for detail across technical documentation as well as "big picutre" thinking
