Due to the continued success and growth the business, locally and globally, they are looking to hire a Sales Manager – Partnerships, Sponsorships & Groups, to focus on developing and driving the ticketing sales strategy for Melbourne’s newest cultural icon.

About the Role
This newly created position will be responsible for driving and executing plans and campaigns to increase ticket sales revenue, through developing and optimizing multiple sales channels such as schools, corporates, groups, travel, etc alongside increasing visitor yield through merchandise and F&B packages. The Commercial Sales Manager will also be charged with developing and driving revenue through partnerships and sponsorships as well as building and maximising key relationships within the Tourism industry. 

Skills & Expertise
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or similar
  • Experience in a similar Sales Management role within the events or ticketed events space
  • Commercial mindset is crucial, with all sales decisions made based on ROI
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships within the tourism and events industries
  • Understanding of marketing and promotional campaigns and experienced collaborating with marketing and PR agencies
  • A strong understanding and interest of the arts, culture, and entertainment landscape
  • Excellent skills in develop strong internal relationships based on collaboration
