Due to the continued success and growth the business, locally and globally, they are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to focus on developing and driving the Events strategy for Melbourne’s newest cultural icon.

About the Role
The Business Development Manager - Events, will focus on developing and driving the events sales strategy to establish it as the premium events destination in Melbourne and Australia. This role will have a new business development focus, liaising with existing and potential new businesses, alongside building strong relationships with business partners to ensure smooth and seamless events from an operational perspective. This is a unique, and exciting sales role as it will require a hunter mentality, creative flair and strong operational skills.

Skills & Expertise
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or similar
  • Extensive exposure to the events market with premium brands, with a passion for creating new event initiatives
  • Confident self starter, with proven experience in a sales or business development role
  • Commercial mindset is crucial, with all sales decisions made based on ROI
  • A strong understanding and interest of the arts, culture, and entertainment landscape
  • Passionate developing strong, collaborative and lasting relationships
