This opportunity is based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

About the role

The OH&S Coordinator will report into a site based OH&S manager with responsibilities across multiple operational facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring site and facilities are operating in a safe manner, and that staff are trained in safe systems of work. Your functional responsibilities will include:
  • Incident investigation and emergency management
  • Ensuring compliance with site and legislated OH&S standards
  • Carrying out training and conducting risk assessments 
  • Supporting the site Return to Work process

What we are looking for

  • Recognised health and safety qualifications at the Certificate IV level
  • Circa 2 years experience within an OH&S role, preferrably within a manufacturing or process environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate across multiple levels of the business
  • Good stakeholder management skills, building trust and site-wide realtionships in a large workforce.
