About the role 
Reporting to the State Manager and being a member of the NSW team of 4, you will be responsible for managing a market leading portfolio into the food solution channel across Sydney’s Northern Metro area as well as the Hunter region and NSW Central Coast. You will manage an exciting and profitable territory channel including 5* hotels, cafes, events, pubs, clubs, hospitals and schools. You will be responsible to drive and grow sales within your territory, delivering cook ups to chefs and cooks, showcasing exciting food compositions and menu ideas. You will deliver exceptional customer service, to build authentic relationships with your customer to find solution ideas to support growth of their business. Your territory will be seen as your business, with full autonomy and financial transparency of your accounts acting as the key point of contact for all orders, merchandising and reporting.
 
 
Skills & experience 
Success in this role will come from experience working as a Sales Representative, Territory Manager or Account Manager within food.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a food distributor or catering solution organisation with strong understanding of both sides of the kitchen table! 
You will have;   
  • Demonstrated success growing a territory within a Sales Rep, Territory or Account Management role.
  • A driven and energetic sales professional with a huge passion for the food industry, or you could be a chef with a strong commercial understanding of margins & costs
  • Be comfortable in the kitchen with Executive Chefs and key decision makers with the ability to listen to your customer and provide solutions
  • Highly organised and structured in planning call cycles and forecast reporting
  • Flexible to travel within the CBD, Surrounding Suburbs with some exciting regional travel.
