About the role

If you are passionate about the safety and wellbeing of your peers, environmental management and product quality, this is a fantastic opportunity at a coordinator level to be part of the site leadership team in a lean manufacturing operation. Funcionally speaking, your typical responsiblities will include:
  • Championing safety activities across the site, implementing and maintaining a series of strong pre-existing initiatives while bringing your own understanding of what good looks like in a safety setting.
  • Driving quality assurance in line with business policies and procedures as well as overarching industry standards and HACCP principles.
  • Increasing overall capability across the safety function, building out the wider acumen of your peers on how to perform their roles and responsibilities in a safe manner for themselves and others.

What we are looking for
  • Current or previous experience across either Quality or HSE functions within a manufacturing setting. FMCG would be well regarded, however broader experience within these functions will be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards pertaining to quality and safety practices within manufacturing 
  • Strong cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management at all levels of business operations
  • Demonstrable leadership capability or competency to step up into a leadership/supervisory role
