Management Accountant
We are currently working with a privately owned organisation which specialises in supplying good and services to large scale projects in the construction space. With a small to medium finance team, this role reports directly to the CFO and offers a broad and interesting range of accountabilities.
As Management Accountant, your role will be to support the CFO with the overall financial management of the business, particularly in relation to ensuring projects are tracking against forecasts. You will work with a range of stakeholders including Site Managers, making sure aspects such as labour and materials are within budget. Experience in basic taxation would be advantageous, as would experience in an inventory based business. Bringing a ‘can do’ attitude, you can expect a wide range of responsibilities which will in turn enhance your skills and experience.
For best success in the role, you will be able to bring strong business partnering skills and the ability to maintain robust financial controls. You possess well developed analytical skills which will allow you to recognise and articulate when things are off track, offering solutions to resolve any issues. You will enjoy multi-tasking and delivering strong customer outcomes, to both internal and external stakeholders. In return you will be working for a highly supportive CFO who will be investing time into your development and success.
Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We are also committed to equal opportunity and strive to promote diversity, inclusion, belonging, flexibility, and accessibility in all that we do.
Should you require assistance in your interactions with us or through a recruitment process, please let us know so we can provide adjustments for you.
