Our client is in the food manufacturing and hospitality business. They are a well-known brand whom you have most likely come across! 


About the role
The position is a Senior Payroll Officer position which will start off as a contract role as they need someone immediately available with the view to going permanent. The role processes fortnightly payroll for 500 employees across awards including manufacturing, retail and clerks. This stand-alone end to end payroll position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys implementing improvements and process changes. 

They are based in Hawthorn and at this stage require full time in the office. 

My client is looking for someone who is a great communicator, who loves helping people and being the supportive payroll person in the business, you are a people-person, and you enjoy solving those payroll problems that invariably come up.

About you
  • You have extensive payroll experience in a standalone role responsible for end-to-end payroll
  • You have experience processing payroll in the manufacturing industry and therefore have exposure to those awards
  • You live near or around Hawthorn and are happy to work in the office 5 days per week
