About the role
Reporting to the Country Manager, this Channel Manager has hybrid responsibility of managing national pet speciality customers whilst also leading a team of 6 territory managers situated along the east coast. This role will be instrumental in setting up the field team, driving best in class process and execution, whilst also being the key lead in driving the brand throughout the likes of Pet Stock, Pet Barn and additional specialty independents. Your role will include all facets of the customer including the development of robust business plans, management of core range reviews, P&L responsibility and delivering new business objectives.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account / Channel / Business Management experience from within the FMCG, consumer goods or retail industry, Pet retail experience highly advantageous, however we are also open to a variety of channel experience from within Aldi, Costco and / or Grocery. You will have demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team and have a passion for getting the best out of people. This role would suit someone who thrives on challenging the status quo, taking initiative to make a difference and most importantly, would suit someone who LOVES animals!
