About the role
Reporting to the Country Manager, the National Channel Manager will be responsible for managing the total retail portfolio consisting of Coles, Woolworths and Independent Grocery. You will be tasked with not only all facets of customer management including JBPs, range review, promotional planning and more, but also be a key driver in activating new product development initiatives and delivering growth objectives around distribution and market share. This role is joining the business at a time of growth and is poised to move into a leadership role within 12 months.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account / Channel / Business Management experience from within the FMCG, consumer goods or retail industry, specially within the grocery channel. You will have demonstrated success in delivering against sales targets and have a genuine yet commercial approach to managing stakeholder relationships. Experience in mentoring people will be advantageous, as is some sort of exposure to the pet / animal category in general.
