Our client is in the manufacturing industry, based out of Somerton, in the norther suburbs. The role is based five days in the office, they have parking on site. 


About the job
Our client is looking for someone who is immeditaly available for a 3 month contract (with potential for extension/permanent). The Accountant role reports into the Financial Controller and is responsible for the following:
  • Compilation and publishing of the daily profit and Loss, including consolidation of monthly explanations and forecasts
  • Maintain fixed assets register & monthly capital forecast
  • Undertake all associated accounting journals for depreciation, reconciliations & reporting and raising new capex codes
  • Month end accounting and associated journals
  • Monthly accounting reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of Monthly BAS for GST and other tax returns
  • Consolidate the monthly profit and capex forecasts
  • Prepare the FBT schedules and review the FBT return before submission
  • Prepare the weekly 13 week cashflow forecast

Salary
This role pays between $35.00-$38.00 per hour, plus superannuation.
