About the Company
Our client is a government agency within the sports/hospitality space. Their office is based in Flemington and they provide a hybrid working model. 


About the role
This position is a temp/contract role to begin with so that they can get someone in as soon as possible, with the potential for permanent as there is a confirmed headcount for this role in the team. The Accounts Officer position reports into the Finance Manager in a team of 6, and is responsible for the following:
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliation
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Reports)
  • Assistance with preparation of year end accounts
  • Preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Monitoring the performance of individual Clubs performance against budget and assisting Clubs with their reporting requirements
  • Undertake balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the General Ledger
