About the Company
Our client is in the food manufacturing space and is in Narre Warren. They offer a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. They are growing and are looking for someone who is immediately available to start in this newly created role.


About the role
The 6-month contract role has potential for extension or permanent but no guarantees at this stage. The newly created role will be mainly responsible for management accountant tasks such as reporting, and will work on two different projects including preparation for audit and ERP system and process improvements. The role reports into the Financial Controller and is responsible for assisting in financial controllership. Responsibilities include:
  • Provide monthly reporting of budget and forecast compared to actual and perform variance analysis
  • Preparation of financial statements, financial position forecasts, and/or reports
  • Management of month end reporting and P&L commentary to meet deadlines
  • Timely submission of journals, GL and other reconciliations
  • Assisting and supporting the Financial Controller
  • Preparation of statutory, management and regulatory accounts
  • Preparation of documents for upcoming audit
  • Be involved in continuous improvement of existing business systems and reporting processes
 

About you
  • You are CPA qualified
  • You have advanced Excel skills
  • You have held a similar management accountant role in the past
  • Manufacturing industry experience is not essential, but desirable
  • You are immediately available and could start on Monday 3rd July
  • You live in the Southeast and are happy to commute to Narre Warren
