About the role
Reporting to the GM of Sales, this business-critical leadership role will see you lead and coach the NSW Sales Team functions to execute a robust state sales plan, delivering on the annual sales budget. An integral part of this role is managing, mentoring and coaching a team of Territory Sales Managers.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Build strong working relationships and present solutions to direct end users across industrial, commercial and supply chain industries.
  • Drive the annual sales planning & budgeting processes to achieve product volume targets.
  • Coach, lead and mentor sales team to ensure they are following company policy & processes including but not limited to sales quotes & proposals.
  • Ensure CRM database is regularly updated and actively utilised to manage customer accounts to drive overall sales performance and company growth.

Ideally the successful person will have industry knowledge and a strong passion for direct sales, leadership, mentoring and client relationship management.
 
Ideal background:
  • Tertiary qualification in business or relevant field (Preferred)
  • Have experience across one of the following aligned industries; Warehouse design & fit out, Supply Chain & Warehousing, Logistics & Transport, Materials Handling or Equipment.
  • Be a highly organised and driven strategic Sales Leader.
  • Hands on authentic leadership style, someone who leads from the front with impact and high energy.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Mechanical knowledge or earlier technical background. (preferred)
