Our client is a privately owned billion dollar food multinational with extensive global operations and over 5 decades of success in the Australian market. Highly visible across a number of key product categories within the frozen food space, this well renowned player has a commitment to quality at its core, spanning 5 production sites in ANZ and 1500 employees. This role will be located in regional Victoria with a remit spanning the ANZ operations.
About the role
This 18 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity is working across all facets of operations in a technical writing capacity, working to standardise training documentation across 5 manufacturing plants as part of the organisational L&D function, reporting into an ANZ L&D Manager. This role would be suitable for someone with a technical engineering or science background as the business touchpoints will be diversified across maintenance and reliability, plant leadership, engineering, packaging and production amongst others. At the core of this role, the goal is to standardise technical documentation and SOPs including training, product, technical, process and user documentation across the 5 sites.
About you
You will come with a technical background in engineering or food science/R&D functions with industry experience in a food or broader manufacturing setting. You will also have sound technical skills across the MS suite and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences in a highly cross-functional manner. Outside of your technical competencies, you will bring a keen eye for detail, a passion for lean/CI processes within a manufacturing context. This role is based in western regional Victoria, however there may be some travel interstate.
