Our client is a prominent vertically integrated ASX listed business within the FMCG space, located in Regional Victoria. With a diversified operations and a strong focus on quality, this local success story has an established footprint across both domestic suppy and export. Boasting a strong focus on providing learning and development opportunities in an inclusive workplace, you will be joining a business with a truly national footprint, with operations spanning 3 states. An opportunity has become available for a Quality Coordinator to join their established QA team, reporting into the Quality Manager.

Please note this opportunity is located in Regional Victoria.

The opportunity

As the Quality Coordinator, you will be overseeing 2x direct reports within the Advanced Processing facility as part of a broader Quality function spanning circa 20 people across 3 units. Bringing a focus on best in class food safety and quality principles to this role, you will be working in a cross-functional manner with other business facets such as Production, Supply Chain and Operations. Scope of the role will typically include:
  • Reviewing technical documentation
  • Management of non-conformance activities including maintaining the NCR 
  • Participation in internal GMP auditing 
  • Supporting investigations in the event of customer complaints 
  • Mentoring and development of more junior QA members.


What we are looking for 

In order to meet the technical requirements for the role, you will bring tertiary qualifications in a Science/Food related field, with a focus on chemistry, food science or microbiology. You will also have demonstrable experience within the food manufacturing space, ideally in a supervisory  capacity as you will be leading other peers. Outside of the pure technical piece, you will bring a high level of ownership and attention to detail, good proactive approach to your work and communication skills appropriate for stakeholders across multiple levels of the business
