About the company
Our client is a manufacturer located in the western suburbs in Altona. They are seeking a Project Accountant to join their team for a 3-4 month contract role.
 

About the role
The newly created position has been put in place to support the operations team through a manufacturing plant build where they require support from a project accountant in budgeting, forecasting, cost of goods sold, and a general focus and support in costing. The role is a mix of management, financial and cost accounting.
 
They are looking for someone who can build relationships and rapport easily and partner with the operations team as their finance partner. The role is heavily Excel based and they also use SAP.
 
The role will be for approx. 3-4 months until the end of October and they are looking for someone who ideally lives in the west as the role will predominantly be office based.
 

About you
  • Manufacturing industry experience is essential
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Able to commute to Altona for a minimum of 4 days per week
  • CPA/CA qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Immediately available
