About the role
 
 
Our client is seeking a results-orientated, strategic & commercial Chief Marketing Officer who presents with a strong understanding of brand management principles, strategic marketing, digital and the loyalty space. This is a pivotal role in the organisation, encompassing the vital responsibility of defining the strategy and roadmap and key to your success will be partnering with the business units to ensure that there is alignment to the overarching business objectives and crafting a comprehensive global marketing strategy.  Your primary objective will be to build strong brand equity and consideration, drive market share growth and achieve revenue targets. You will champion organisational change and foster a culture of continuous improvement in processes and operations. You will also remain vigilant in monitoring industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to drive innovation and solidify the organisations position as a market leader. As a key senior leader, you will provide clear and supportive leadership to your direct reports, emphasising outcomes, while fostering a highly engaged, empowered, and high-performing team. Develop your unique leadership style to align with the organisational values and desired leadership behaviour. 
  
Qualifications and Experience 
  • Senior Marketer with strong customer focus and ability to deliver CX solutions  
  • Demonstrated expertise in successfully executing global marketing strategies 
  • Strong understanding of digital, data and the loyalty landscape  
  • Extensive background in managing brands and executing impactful & commercial campaigns 
  • Ideally, we are looking for a background in Retail, Consumer Goods, and Travel industries with experience in both B2C and B2B2C realms
  • You have Business / Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
  • Highly skilled in analytics and possess a strong commercial acumen  
  • Experienced in collaborating with hybrid and on and offshore teams within a matrix organisations 
  • Exceptional leadership & influencing skills with collaborative style and approach 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a global mindset
