About the role:
This key role as Trade Marketing and Events Coordinator will focus on driving and elevating the in store presence and experience with all major retail partners nationally, in line with the broader retail excellence strategy. Leveraging off data insights and performance analytics, you will design merchandise layouts to drive optimal stock turns and financial performance. In addition to this, you will coordinate over 50 events, small conferences through to large trade shows, ensuring brand consistency and in line with the broader marketing and retail strategy.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the merchandising strategy
  • Develop effective retail merchandising design structures for major retail partners nationally to improve shelf presence, stock turns and optimal financial performance
  • Manage with the key account team retail performance within the vendor managed retail program
  • Ownership of retail performance monitoring and event metrics and reporting
  • Maintain the annual program of events and integration with the annual marketing plan
  • Maintain POS retail support collateral and resources
  • Maintain the marketing collateral resource inventory (brochures, publication, displays, technology, uniforms etc)
  • Provide support as an active member of the sales and marketing team i.e. at field days, in store etc.
  • Provide active support where needed across the broader team, a willingness to jump in to ensure all broader objectives are met collaboratively
 
About You:
  • 3+ years' experience in trade/retail marketing, with a strong focus on retail merchandising and design
  • Proven experience utilising data and insights to develop the trade marketing and merchandising strategy
  • Some event management and project management experience
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, both internally externally
  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management and multi tasking skills
  • A professional or personal connection to regional Australia and agriculture/farming
