With a growing global presence across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, this organisation is now seeking a proven and capable Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of the organisation nationally across Australia.
About the role
Already boasting some excellent Tier 1 Enterprise clients here in Australia, your ‘lead from the front’ approach to business development will see you drive the organisations growth here in ANZ by pushing further into larger enterprise/strategic sales in channels such as Large Corporate, with immense scope to diversify into Banking, Insurance, Government & Education.
As an extension of the head office/leadership team, you will rein in and embed the sales process, drive the strategy and serve as the consultative conduit between Sustainability Managers and CFO’s from a customer perspective. You are responsible for overseeing the direction of the sales team in Australia and New Zealand. This will involve implementing sales plans and driving execution with your team, ensuring the team is motivated and focused on the outcomes following the client’s sales process. You will also be responsible for developing relationships with key industry stakeholders with your own revenue target.

Responsibilities
- Develop the sales plan for ANZ based on the company strategy with a focus on outcomes. This plan will be action oriented with actions, timeframes and accountabilities.
- Develop relationships with key customers and channel partners with our senior C-Suite customers. You will have your own sales targets based on 50% of your time dedicated to selling activities.
- Ensuring healthy sales pipeline with a value of 5 times revenue target. Sales pipeline will be a combination of marketing and sales generated leads.
- Co-development of the sales process with CEO and senior leadership team.
- Following the client’s sales process and methodology. Key emphasis on qualifying and discovery to ensure selective opportunities are going through the sales process to close.
- Continuous improvement through the use of our CRM, metrics, team training and people development. Working with the team to improve deal flow and conversion in the sales pipeline.
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate
- Experience in engaging, liaising and securing new business with C-Suite personnel in Enterprise/Large Corporate markets. Ideally at a Facilities Management, Sustainability and Finance/Procurement level.
- 3+ years of Sales Management, with a strong track record of success in a new business development capacity.
- Exemplary negotiation skills, with excellence in understanding the Sales process and a comprehension of the difference between product and service sales.
- Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to effectively manage change in a fast paced organisation.
- Previous exposure to SaaS sales would be looked upon favourably, but is not a pre-requisite.
