An opportunity for an aspiring logistics/transport candidate with some logistics exposure is up for grabs.
 
About the role:
The role will involve day-to-day routing functions, ensuring efficient distribution, and communicating clearly and managing a team of drivers. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer service, reducing costs, and achieving delivery excellence.
 
Duties:
  • Using transport systems to plan daily delivery routes.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and subcontractors to ensure operational capabilities and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate and updated data, including delivery windows, service times, travel times, and mapping information.
  • Ensure compliance with fatigue management policies and regulations for driver routes.
Key skills & experience:
  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer experience.
  • Well skilled across excel and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
