Senior NPD Technologist

Scope of the role:
As the standalone NPD Manager/Senior NPD Technologist, you will be supported by a wider team across Technical, Innovation and Food Science, working on end to end product development for leading commercial retailers. With an internal-centric innovation model, you will be supported by a strong Technical Manager and a well fleshed out commercial operations. Utilising high quality ingredients and a well fleshed out manufacturing facility, you will be tasked with strategic new product development activities, managing circa 6 project concurrently at any one time as part of the broader Innovation and Technical function. Supported by strong consumer trends and insights and proactive category development and line extensions, this is a fantastic opportuntiy to really make this role your own, invovled commercially in end to end product development and see your products on the shelves.
What we are looking for
This role would be a great fit for a technical food scientist with a demonstrable background in Product Development, Food Science or potentially Culinary Development. You will have a track record of bringing products through ideation through to creation with a sound knowledge of Stage Gate. You may have had true end to end experience or been invovled as part of a wider product development team with a robust working knowledge of food project management and have seen products come to life. This role is 5 days a week site based role, headquartered in Geelong, so you will be comfortable in a benchtop, site based technical role.
