My client is an Australian success story in the FMCG industry who are key leaders in their competing categories! They are pioneers with innovation and are continuously investing in driving outstanding NPD initiatives which is only adding to their dominant retail following. With this in mind and more investment in their people coming, they are now experience an exciting period of growth and are looking for a superstar National Account Manager to join their business.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this entrepreneurial role would suit someone who thrives on driving growth. You will be managing diverse customer portfolio which will include customers within P&C, Aldi, and Independents, where you will be the lead for generating new business opportunities within categories that are yet to be ranged. This is a huge strategic investment from the business and one that has already exceeded expectations, and it will be your responsibility to take the lead on the development of customer planning including management of range reviews, driving NPD initiatives, trade marketing activations and P&L, whilst also delivering key insights to the broader business on differing ways to optimise range and share.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry, ideally within the emerging channels / P&C channel. Ideally degree qualifled, you will have outstanding commercial acumen and communication skills, accompanied with a strategic mindset and financial capability, and a genuine passion for the hunt of a sale. You will thrive on working in a team environment that is built on collaboration, and be a natural foodie yourself!
