Our client is a highly regarded, mid-tier accounting & consulting firm with a global network of offices spanning more than 100 countries.  An exciting opportunity exists to join as a Senior Manager in their Business Advisory team based in the Melbourne office.

As a member of the broader leadership group, you will work alongside a Partner and Associate Director and the wider Business Advisory team to provide clients with key technical advice and guidance across a range of advisory services.

Specifically, you will be responsible for areas including:
  • Consultancy advice, report writing and handling client requests
  • Monitoring the accuracy of client work and ensuring regulatory quality assurance requirements are met
  • Leading a business advisory team, ensuring resources are appropriately skilled and developed to meet performance and productivity KPI’s
  • Monitoring client engagement costs, reviewing monthly billings, contributing to team budgets and planning and ensuring appropriate workflow management
With experience in public practice, you will understand the drivers of a professional services business and bring both leadership and commercial acumen with aspirations to progress.  Ideally you will have gained exposure to a range of technical accounting and tax issues, including but not limited to CGT, FBT, GST, and payroll tax.  Other areas including transfer pricing and tax effect accounting would be beneficial however full training will be provided should you not have experience in certain areas.
