Our client is one of the fastest growing hospitality groups in the country and are on an aggressive growth path, backed by a prominent and forward-thinking investment firm that specializes in driving growth and value creation across various industries. With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and strategic thinking, the firm has an established track record of building successful businesses. With over 25 venues in hospitality and gaming, they are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to double the business over the next two years through strategic acquisitions nationally.

Reporting through the Chairman of the Board, the CEO will collaborate with the investment team to develop and execute an approved strategic plan for the business. The CEO will oversee operations, ensure the tactical implementation of the strategic vision, and manage the company's financial performance. Additionally, the CEO will drive sustainable business growth through acquisitions and efficiency improvements, champion the group’s emerging leader's program, and spearhead community and sustainability initiatives.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong and clear leadership internally to the organisation and its people and externally to the organisation’s stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to execute the group’s strategic vision, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Create and sustain a culture of innovation and enablement, underpinned by and expressing the values and philosophy of the organisation.
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
  • Provide clear direction to the management, operations, finance, and HR teams.
  • Work with the investment team and the COO to develop business plans, budgets, and strategies for board consideration.
  • Ensure effective and efficient functioning of the organisation and all its operating divisions.
  • Set financial targets and companywide KPIs to achieve profitability goals.
  • Implement strategies for sustainable revenue and earnings growth.
  • Participate in appropriate business and professional associations, networks and activities relevant to the organisation’s interests.
  • Ensure head office resources are aligned with group priorities and strategic plans.


Essential Skills:
  • Education: tertiary qualified, and/or MBA.
  • Leadership: ability to lead, grow and inspire a cohesive and united team
  • Executive Management: Demonstrated executive management experience in a hospitality, customer service, or consumer-focused environment.
  • Board Interaction: Proven track record of presenting and reporting to boards.
  • Financial Proficiency: High-level financial acumen with a strong grasp of corporate finance.
  • Corporate Governance: Previous experience in corporate governance.
  • Change Management: Significant expertise in change management and fostering a positive organizational culture.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Outstanding skills in stakeholder management and influence.
