Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the CEO, the Director, Governance is a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation achieves its statutory obligations, risk is anticipated and managed, and decisions made by the Council are well informed.  Leading the governance team, this wide ranging role provides critical support and guidance to multiple areas of the organisation, requiring significant collaboration, people leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Specifically, your role will have responsibilities including but not be limited to:
  • Leading a team of subject matter experts where you foster empowerment and ensure the organisational values are at the fore
  • Providing strategic advice to Council, CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure they are supported in their roles
